5Question five
Have you sat in one?
In one lineWe would still rather you sat in any sauna before you decide.
This one costs nothing to answer, yet hardly anyone answers it. If you already use the gym sauna, you have sat in one, and you know whether it is heat you want or an idea you like.
If you have not, sit in one before you decide anything. A friend's. A day pass. Or a showroom visit; showrooms are open by appointment. If a showroom is not within reach, some PlusLife owners host visits in their own homes. Ask on the call whether there is a host within reach of you.
If the heat itself is your doubt, this is where it gets answered: by a bench, not by a brand. Twenty minutes tells you more than twenty tabs.
For what it is worth, plenty of our buyers never sat in one first. We would still rather you sat in any sauna before you decide.
Twenty minutes tells you more than twenty tabs.
And if you can feel both formats, do; this question stalls more people than price does. One forum buyer summed the stall up in three words: "Really lost here." Here is the short version.
The practical picture: how to tell which one is yours
- Traditional heats the air, runs hotter, and lets you pour water over the rocks for steam. On PlusLife's traditional builds that means a Harvia heater sized to the cabin. It hard-wires, so your electrician runs a dedicated circuit to it.
- Infrared warms you more than it warms the room, so it runs gentler and there is no steam over rocks. It is Australian design, available indoor and outdoor. It still needs a licensed electrician, like every model we sell.
- The test buyers use on the forums. One put it as "I'm in it for the sweat, so whatever will maximize that is what I want." If that is you, traditional. If a gentler twenty minutes indoors is the appeal, infrared. Another tried infrared first and wrote it "didn't even come close to getting hot enough" for what they wanted, which is why sitting in one settles it faster than reading.
- Warranty differs between the lines. The traditional-range term is in question four, and every model's term comes in writing before any deposit.
On the call we will tell you which fits your space and your evenings; we sell both, so we have no reason to push either. And placement is rarely the blocker: our in-house assembly team is experienced with putting saunas in the tightest of places, nationwide.
And if you sit in one and do not want to go back in, believe that; that is what the twenty-minute test is for.
